Let me translate the title of this post - I just reached a major milestone. I finished my class when I turned in my paper on Friday night. No more ranting about idiotic undergrads in my class who can't write complete sentences. No more trying to pretend that I care about classical fallacies of logic. Woo Hoo!
Yesterday was doctor visit day #1. Gabe and I got tested for our life insurance policy in the morning. Then he went to the dentist for the second time in his life. The poor guy has to go back for 2 more deep cleanings so his teeth don't fall out. Then we both went to the eye doctor that afternoon. He'd never had his eyes dilated before and it was funny :) We rewarded ourselves with a nice dinner at Outback.
This past Saturday was the shower at Denise's house. It was really nice and most of Gabe's family was there.
Our Greta had to be put to sleep on Sunday. We all teased mom 2 years ago when she adopted a 9 year old, blind, diabetic dog, but Greta had a good run of it. Mom, Dad, and Erin made her last two years happy ones. We'll miss you Greta-girl!
